課程概述 |
1. 本課程適合正在修習國際生華語「中級一」、「中級二」課程的學習者選修。本課程旨在加強中級的聽說讀寫能力，藉由學習生活語言外之常用詞彙與文法，使學生能得體使用華語與人溝通、討論，並期望學生能透過課程進一步了華人習慣及台灣文化。
This course is aimed at those who are taking Intermediate Ⅰ or Intermediate Ⅱ of the NTU General Chinese Language Course. This course uses the textbook “A Course in Contemporary Chinese 3” to help students develop proficient language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing that would enable them to communicate effectively in their daily lives. Students will learn commonly used new vocabularies and grammar that are not often used in daily conversations. Through the course, students will be able to use appropriate Chinese language to carry on discussions to further understand Chinese culture and language.
2. 本課程授課語言以中文為主，英文為輔。
This course will be conducted mainly in Chinese with minimum English only when it is necessary.

課程目標 |
學生的聽說讀寫能力均達到各單元之要求，能處理日常生活中較複雜的事務，並能與人討論較複雜的主題，如網路購物、醫學美容、歷史政治等。
Develop proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing to deal with complex situations within daily lives, and discuss about complex issues, such as online shopping, cosmetic surgery, history and politics etc., with people. |

課程要求 |
(1) 預習與複習。
Previews before and do homework after each class.
(2)上課不可無故遲到或早退。遲到或早退超過二十分鐘，視同缺席一小時。
Attend the class on time. Arriving more than 20 minutes late or leaving 20 minutes early will be counted as a one-hour absence.
(3) 每次上課皆須攜帶課本、講義。並準時交作業。
Bring all the materials you are supposed to use when you come to class. Review what we have been taught; do homework and submit it on time. The homework should be in HANDWRITING instead of computer-typing. (2 weed )
(4)上課應積極參與課堂討論，不應從事與課程無關的活動。不要聊天、使用電子產品(手機、電腦)於非課程內容。
It is essential to participate in classroom activities and class discussion. You should not write homework or do other things unrelated to the course during class time.
(5)上課請說中文，不說其他非中文語言。
This course will be conducted mainly in Chinese.
(6)上課期間請將手機轉為震動或靜音。尊重同學的發言權跟受教權。
Phones must be set on silent mode during class time. Respect classmates’ right to speak and the right of learning
(7) 課程消息(比如作業和考試)都公布在NTUCOOL，請每周上網確認，也一定要收NTU mail

(8). 請先安裝中文打字軟體(設置中文鍵盤)，本課程使用Webex 作為教學平台，建議
先行安裝。
Please install Chinese typing software OR set up a Chinese keyboard first. We use Webex as our teaching platform, which is a friendly software that needs only a couple of minutes to set up.
(9) 線上課程時，需要準備設備，例如耳機、麥克風和網絡攝影機。上課時請打開鏡頭
For an online course, you will need to prepare equipment, such as headphones, microphone, and webcam. (We strongly recommend that you use earphones because speakers will tend to create feedback if your microphone is too close to them, and thus will lower the listening quality.) Please turn on the video camera during class

出缺席與 平時表現Attendance |

這個部分的成績跟你上課的時候是不是聽老師說話、做老師給的活動、還有是不是常常不來上課有關係。
The students are graded according to the performance in class. Answering questions in Chinese, joining the discussion and practicing in class will help you to get high scores. However, this score would be deducted if the students were absent too many times, or absent without informing the teacher in advance.
A. 遲到或早退20分鐘都以缺席1小時計。
Late for class more than 20 minutes or leave class 20 minutes earlier than scheduled time will be regarded as one-hour absence.
B. 一個學期有6小時沒來上課，老師不會扣分。從第7個小時開始，1個小時扣1分。Students won’t lose any point if they are absent within 6 hours. However, students will lose 1 points per hour from the 7th hour. |

A. 聽寫30% 從第二週課程開始，每周有1~2次聽寫考試，不能補考。
B. 課考70% 每課教完有單元考試。考試主要為筆試(含聽力測驗)，視情況加入口試。若因故無法參加考試，需在考試後一週內完成補考，但聽力測驗及口試不能補考，因此該部分成績以零分計 |

期末短片：2~5人一組，製作一部短片。影片時間20分鐘內，影片中每個人都必須說話，而且必須使用所學的語法或詞彙 (每個人至少使用8個)，使用適當的詞彙和語法越多，成績越高。
